This isn’t the first time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the Trainers. Our paths first crossed years ago when I second-shot their wedding. Time passed and they welcomed me into their lives once again, this time as a family of three. 

Since our last session together, the Trainers have been on a challenging but beautiful journey as they prepare to welcome their newest addition this Spring and I felt truly honoured to be entrusted with documenting these precious memories for them.

Little E was bursting with excitement at the prospect of becoming a big sister. Her energy was infectious, filling the room with laughter and joy as she eagerly showed me her toys and whispered sweet secrets to her yet-to-be-born sister. I couldn’t help but smile as she shared her plans to teach her sibling gymnastics and the art of coloring—a glimpse into the special bond that was already forming between them.

As I clicked away, capturing the love and excitement that filled the room, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for moments like these—for the opportunity to witness the beauty of family and the resilience of the human spirit. And as we count down the days until their little girl’s arrival in the spring, I can’t help but share in their anticipation and excitement.

To the Trainer family, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey—for trusting me to capture these precious moments that will serve as a reminder of the love and joy that fills your home. And to little E, I have no doubt that you will be an amazing big sister—one who will fill your sister’s life with laughter, love, and endless adventures.
