My family is everything to me. Which is understandable, because they are ah-mazing.
The Handsome (aka Adam) has been my right-hand-man since I started this company almost a decade ago and I wouldn't be here without him. While he already works full-time for a large tech company by day, his evenings & weekends are spent assisting me. (He's kind of like superman.)
Now that the Little Dude has joined our clan, you may just see them both make an appearance at your outdoor session!

Heart to Heart Haiti is committed not only to educating children, but also to providing adult literacy programs, health & dental care services, professional development to Haitian teachers, and trade & employment opportunities.

In February 2020, I had the incredible honour of going to Haiti and using my photography skills to document many of the programs H2H is involved with.
During my stay at the Children's Home I was able to witness first-hand the incredible impact H2H is making through child sponsorship, education, feeding programs, and medical aid in their own community as well as in more remote villages.

As an organization, Kuwasha operates 5 schools with over 1500 of the most vulnerable students in the community, a community health facility caring for over 16000 patients annually, a 50 acre farm, and clean water projects for the community of Kibaale.

Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to work alongside & support international organizations whose goals were to enrich communities that struggled with poverty and social injustice. I went to Kibaale on my first international volunteer trip in 2008 and it only confirmed that passion more firmly. It was the catalyst which propelled me to move overseas two years later and eventually inspired me to pursue photography as a career.

I was privileged to have been given the opportunity to photograph UGM’s annual Easter Meal with Adam back in 2019. I believe strongly in the work that they do and continue to support them as they serve the downtown East Side of Vancouver.
